3 Easy Steps to Identify Which ZipperBuddy is Best for You:
1. Pick your favorite jacket or hoodie with a zipper.
2. Choose Swift or Glide: ZipperBuddy Swift attaches through a compatible zipper, while ZipperBuddy Glide uses a universal zip adapter that works on virtually any zip. Glide Coming Soon.
Take a peek at your zipper! If the teeth are plastic and there’s a #5 on the back of the zipper pull, you’ll want ZipperBuddy Swift. For other zippers, ZipperBuddy Glide is the way to go.
Caution: Does not work on Metaluxe, or Aquaguard.
3. Pick a size: We offer ZipperBuddy in 18”, 20”, 24”, and 27” lengths. Measure from the bottom of your zipper to where you want it to close—just below the collarbone or all the way up!
SWIFT
How it Works
ZipperBuddy SWIFT is made of two pieces that zip directly to the preexisting zipper on your jacket or hoodie. Simply match the zipper sides, zip them on, and enjoy the freedom to open and close your jacket with ease, thanks to hook-and-loop technology.
Designed for Most Plastic Zippers
ZipperBuddy Swift works with most plastic #5 zippers (like the YKK Vislon #5). After a one-time installation from a friend or loved one who can navigate zippers, you’ll gain independence to close your jacket with just one hand—whether you have full dexterity or not. No permanent modifications required!
You will look at the zipper pull and type to see if it's plastic or vislon. Then look for the number 5. If it has both of those things, choose swift!
GLIDE
How it Works
ZipperBuddy GLIDE is made of two pieces that slide over the preexisting zipper on your jacket or hoodie. Slide the adapter on and enjoy the freedom to open and close your jacket with ease, thanks to hook-and-loop technology.
Designed for Most Zippers
ZipperBuddy GLIDE utilizes a patented slide-on universal zip adapter from Maternity Brand MakeMyBellyFit
ZipperBuddy GLIDE is designed to slide onto most zips, brands and types of jackets (rain, down, parka, long and short jackets).
Warning: not compatible with Metaluxe zips which can be identified by looking at the shape of the teeth. Note that the color of Metaluxe zips can be silver, gold or another darker color. The material is plastic however is designed to look like metal.
